Patrick Michael "Pat" Rafter (born 28 December 1972) is an Australian former World No. 1 tennis player. He twice won the Men's Singles title at the US Open and was twice the runner-up at Wimbledon. Rafter was elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2006. He was known for his natural serve-and-volley style of play. He became the first man in the Open Era to win Montreal/Toronto, Cincinnati and the US Open in the same year (1998); this achievement has been dubbed the American Summer Slam.
Rafter was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2006.
When we last left Hollis Doyle, he was stepping into an elevator with the man who is planning to kill him. Huck hops inside the car before the doors close. He stops Charlie from carrying out the hit. Cyrus is in shock when Olivia reveals that Hollis didn't try to kill the president. In other news, Fitz and Mellie take part in a photo shoot to give the world its first look at their new baby boy. They play nice until the PR moment is done. Fitz is still moving forward with divorce plans. He knows Mellie induced labor to manipulate him. He asks Olivia to wait for him as he kisses and caresses her. She’ll have to think about that one.
Supreme Court Justice Verna Thornton is the person who hired Becky to assassinate the president. Olivia figures this out, but knows she can’t turn her in. Verna says, “Confessing does more harm than good.” If that’s true, then why does she make a call to David Rosen? Even though the persistent U.S. Attorney was summoned to Verna’s hospital room, he’s blocked from seeing her. That’s because she already has a visitor. Fitz is in her room. He screams for help when Verna stops breathing. Efforts to revive her are unsuccessful. Verna Thornton is dead.
Fitz wears a troubled look on his face as he gazes out the window of the Oval Office. Cyrus is ordered to assemble a list of possible replacement justices before meeting up with Mellie in the hallway. The First Lady would rather be where the action is than with her new child. Cyrus feels the same way because, as the Mellie so eloquently puts it… “Nobody likes babies.” Mellie also assures Cyrus that she will go nuclear if Fitz goes public with his divorce thoughts. After she destroys her hubby, she’ll run for office herself. Good to know.
Olivia needs know what kind of information David has uncovered. Thankfully, “Bobblehead” lives. Bobblehead, by the way, is the name Olivia and Huck have for the listening device they placed in amongst David’s shelf of collectibles with wobbly oversized noggins. Abby wants all recordings with R-rated material left for her to ears only. One of the CDs reveals that David is in possession of the memory card that was used to rig the election. Abby mentions he has a safe in his office. She later hears a recording of David saying he loves her while she was asleep.
Abby asks Olivia if she paid David’s ex to say that he beat her. The answer is yes. Abby knows Harrison was the payoff man. She’s furious, but Harrison makes an impassioned speech declaring that he only did what he did because he’s a gladiator just like her. Abby shows up at David’s door to say she loves him, too. The two of them spend the night together. David leaves Abby alone in his apartment as he goes off to work. He has a big case to present to the grand jury. The election rigging scandal is about to go public.
James is subpoenaed to appear before the grand jury. He confronts his hubby about his role in fixing the election. Cyrus makes James strip to make sure he isn't wearing a wire. After both men are completely naked in the middle of the bedroom, Cy admits that he stole the White House. It was the only way he could run the country without actually becoming president. Cyrus is visibly worried when James says he’s going to do whatever it takes to protect their new baby. He places a call to Charlie. He has a job for him.
A stunning portrait of the emergence of ACT UP in the early days of the AIDS crisis, Plague documents the lengths to which its activists would go to demand government action in regards to the testing of AIDS medications. Its impressive use of footage from the trenches makes this an essential chronicle of a painful yet pivotal time in gay rights history.
FX" "Telling Jokes" is essentially C.K.'s spin on the old saw that kids say the darndest things. But the idea that small children don't realize how funny they are takes on new life when shown through the eyes of a professional comedian. Jane's joke about the gorilla who couldn't go to the ballet would be strange and amusing enough on its own, but when we hear Louie analyzing it for a club audience, it goes to another level.
Beyond that, the opening scene with Louie and the girls at the kitchen table was a reminder that while Louie's kids can be frustrating at times (like any kids), sometimes it's an enormous amount of fun for them to just spend time together.
"Set Up," meanwhile, offered a terrific guest role for Melissa Leo as Louie's unwitting blind date Laurie. a tough broad who's as surprised as Louie to realize she's having a good time when their married friends leave. Leo's never been a particularly self-conscious actress — on "Homicide," she refused (over the objections of several executives) to wear makeup, since she didn't think her character would — so it's not that shocking to see a former Oscar winner cheerfully offering up oral sex in a pick-up truck, then violently demanding Louie return the favor when he declines, but it's still an explosively funny, ballsy sequence, and performance.
This slight coming-of-age indie already feels a bit dated, but the first love scene between its central characters – two men coming of age in the American South – is tender and true. Bonus: It takes place on a school bus, fulfilling the fantasies of millions of former rural schoolboys everywhere.
An Apology to Elephants is a 2013 documentary that explores purported abuse and brutal treatment of elephants. It showcases elephant training and the alleged psychological trauma and physical damage done by living conditions in some zoos and circuses. It was premiered on HBO on April 24, 2013, also celebrated as an Earth Day. The documentary includes interviews with environmental activists and biologists, including Performing Animal Welfare Society co-founders Ed Stewart and Pat Derby. The film was dedicated to Derby, also known as an "elephant lady", who died on February 15, 2013.
Narrator Lily Tomlin campaigned on the subject for several years, in the course of which she met Pat Derby. Later, she suggested that HBO make a movie about elephant captivity. HBO began work on the documentary in 2011. It was later joined by PETA, which offered pictures and video footage, including photos from a whistleblower depicting elephant training at the Ringling Bros circus.
Not everyone was born to do porn. It usually takes working out a lot and have more than 20 inches cock in the case of assets, then there is something so easy. But nothing prevents you from an amateur video fuck to remember that special, or even to assess their performance.
Parnok discovered her heart's true nature early in life, much to her father's chagrin. At 20, she bolted to Geneva with her lover, only to end up back with her family when the young couple ran out of money. Her next escape was a marriage blanche with a fellow poet, but that did not last long, and soon Parnok was off on another adventure and romance with with fellow poet Marina Tsvetaeva. At the end of their relationship, she published her first book of verse, Poems — some of the first Russian poetry to deal with lesbianism. There were more lovers and more poems, and finally she met Olga Tsuberbiller (pictured with her at right). She lived with Tsuberbiller for the rest of her life. There were a few affairs of course; after all, she was a Russian, lesbian poet. (Source: Queercult.com)
When Yunel Escobar wrote “tu ere maricon” on his eye block, Miami Marlins manager Guillen defened him. He told the Miami Herald. “I know he didn't mean to hurt anybody’s feelings. Nobody is that stupid… In my house, we call [each other] that word every 20 seconds. I’ve got three kids—for us, it’s like ‘What’s up, bro? What’s up, dude?’ It’s how you say it and to who you say it. But that’s our country. We have to respect this country. Sometimes for us it’s funny, for other people it’s not.” So you and your kids use the word for “faggot” “every 20 seconds.”
Longtime Batman scribe Paul Dini has confirmed that these two bad girls have had a fling, but we the reader have never seen it. The women's affections, however, became clear after Poison Ivy nursed Harley back to health after an earthquake hit Gotham City. But there are of course a few obstacles: Ivy's not the partnering type and bisexual Harley's obsessed with the abusive Joker.
We can tell that the suspense has been killing you, so we'll put you out of your misery. This week's contestant is a bad boy punk-type that you're dying to bring home to mom -- assuming your mom is Courtney Love, of course. But what's his dick like? Giant? Tiny? Cut? Pierced? Tattooed?! (Dick tattoos are all the rage these days, after all.) Check it out after the jump.
A rocker daddy best known for his time with the bands Hüsker Dü and Sugar, musician Bob Mould is just as competent playing solo — not that Mould, 52, should have to look too far for willing collaborators.
As if we needed confirmation that Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn know how to make it work! Yesterday the "Project Runway" hosts took home the 2013 Emmy award for Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program. "OMG, I am in a state of apoplexy! Love to everyone," Tim tweeted after their win. And Heidi echoed his sentiment, tweeting, "We won!!!!!!! yay!!!!!"
In November 2009, the Church of Sweden overwhelmingly voted in favor of allowing gender-neutral marriage ceremonies. The country’s Catholic and Pentecostal Churches and Muslim Association still forbid same-sex ceremonies.
Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown is an American travel and food show on CNN which premiered on April 14, 2013. In the show, Anthony Bourdain travels to places that are not tourist attractions, which one source claims are unknown to most people, hence the title.

John and Edward Grimes (born 16 October 1991 in Dublin, Ireland), known professionally as Jedward, are an Irish singing and television presenting duo. They are identical twins and first appeared as John & Edward in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009, generating a phenomenon of ironic popularity described as "the Jedward paradox". They finished sixth and are now managed by Louis Walsh, who was their mentor during The X Factor.
Jedward have released three albums, Planet Jedward, Victory and Young Love. Planet Jedward and Victory went double platinum in Ireland. They have released nine singles, including "Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)" (a mash-up of "Under Pressure" by Queen and Vanilla Ice's track "Ice Ice Baby"), "Lipstick", the song with which they represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, and "Waterline", with which they represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
Jedward are also known for their television work, including presenting children's series Jedward's Big Adventure and OMG! Jedward's Dream Factory, and for participating in Celebrity Big Brother 8. The 50-year-old gay actor stole our hearts in The Normal Heart, which earned him a Tony and gave him the opportunity to thank his longtime partner Jeffrey Richman (who writes for Modern Family), and now he and Laura Linney are The Big C: Hereafter‘s sole nominated representatives. Reddish scruff for the win!
Manhunt: The Search for Bin Laden is a 2013 documentary directed by Greg Barker that explores the CIA's investigation of Osama bin Laden starting from 1995 till his death in 2011. It was premiered on HBO on May 1, 2013, two years after the mission that killed bin Laden in May 2011. The documentary features narratives by many of the CIA analysts, operatives who worked over almost two decades understanding and then tracking bin Laden and also includes archival film footage across Washington, D.C., Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the Middle East. It also features extensive and rarely seen footage of Al-Qaeda training and propaganda videos, including digital suicide notes from various terrorists who later worked as suicide bombers.
On release, the documentary was noted as a "less Hollywood-ized version" of the film Zero Dark Thirty (2012) and appreciated for showcasing "the nitty-gritty" of decade-long search for Bin Laden and the CIA analysts' job. It was acknowledged for putting "a human face on the secret world of intelligence gathering". The documentary was selected for 2013 Sundance Film Festival and was part of U.S. Documentary Competition. Three CIA agents featured in the documentary; Marty Martin, Nada Bakos and Cindy Storer; also attended the discussion about the documentary after its premier in the festival.
The director of the film, Greg Barker, noted that it was difficult to trace down the individuals who worked for the CIA but did not have any exposure. He also mentioned that as the CIA did not have any approval over the content of the film. Interviewees had to make sure that they did not reveal any classified information.
The Cuban actor graduated from Howard University with a marketing degree and worked The Fast and Furious streets of New York City as an investment banker before he turned to acting. Is there anything sexier than a man who can work the red carpet and the Wall Street trading floor? The Deception actor, who is reportedly single, told Wendy Williams, “I don’t look for love. I let it find me.” Sigh. We’ll be looking for you, Laz.
Kylie Minogue demanded across-the-pond credibility with her 2002 video for “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” arguably the Euro-est clip ever to nab a VMA. Not only was it a striking and shiny clip (with Kylie wearing what can only be described as a nightgown with a plunging Mobius strip neckline), but the video’s choreography rightfully earned a win for its robotic, man-machine pseudo-strutting. It’s like Kraftwerk-meets-”Vogue,” and that means part of its appeal is the ferocity of masculine posing. I’ll say it: There’s some Village People credibility lurking here.

The string of military dudes in the Nude Boyfriend of the Week doesn't seem to have an end in sight. And who can blame us? These guys have killer bodies and they are constantly horny in the barracks. Look at our latest candidate, this 22yo Marine, from Carlsbad, in addition to a magnificent cock, says that he likes playing with his ass while he jacks off. How awesome is that?
If I didn't have to work right now, I’d be dancing in my underwear to this and humping the air around me. Is Alan Thicke a more talented musical artist than Michael Jackson? The Beatles? Beethoven? One could argue the answer is most definitely “yes”. The person making this argument would also be one-hundred percent correct.
