July 7th is Chocolate Day

There are a number of dates throughout the year promoting variations of local, national or international Chocolate Day – our research leads us to believe that this is the true, definitive, purist ‘Chocolate Day‘, so celebrate with some of the high cocoa, rich, dark chocolate that makes you go tingly inside… Or failing that, stock up on chocolate biscuits, ice-cream and enjoy a day of secret treats and indulgence…

From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
I love me some Billy Campbell.  I loved him on Once and Again. Billy turns 55 today.

William Oliver "Billy" Campbell (born July 7, 1959) is an American film and television actor. In television, he is best known for his roles as Rick Sammler on Once and Again, as Det. Joey Indelli on Crime Story, as Jordan Collier on The 4400, and as Dr. Jon Fielding on the Tales of the City Miniseries. He is also known for his recurring role as Luke Fuller in Dynasty which was his first prominent role. His most notable films include The Rocketeer, Bram Stoker's Dracula and Enough. He also portrayed Darren Richmond on the AMC television series The Killing.

Campbell was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. He attended Fork Union Military Academy and Western Albemarle High School. His parents divorced when he was two years old. He has volunteered as an actor with the Young Storytellers Program. He is good friends with actor and Crime Story co-star Stephen Lang. Campbell portrayed General George Pickett in the 2003 film Gods and Generals, a part previously played by Lang in the 1993 film Gettysburg in which Campbell also co-starred.

During the filming of 1991's The Rocketeer, he began a romance with co-star Jennifer Connelly, 11 years his junior. They were involved for five years before they broke up in 1996.

Favorite Birthday Boy #1 for July 7th

Christian Camargo
From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
Christian Camargo is one beautiful man. He comes by his exotic looks naturally coming from good stock with his beautiful mother being Victoria Wyndham from Another World. Christian is an amazing actor and has an accomplished resume in television, movies and theater. I had not heard of Christian until Dexter. Call me sick, but I loved 'Rudy'. Now Rudy was one sick puppy, but Christian's portrayal was mesmerizing. Wish they could find a way to bring him back, the relationship between the brothers was truly amazing to watch. Christian turns 43 today.

Christian Camargo (born July 7, 1971) is an American film, television, and stage actor, producer, writer, and director, perhaps best known for his role of Brian Moser in the Showtime drama Dexter and his portrayal of Eleazar in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2.

Camargo was born Christian Minnick in New York City, New York, the son of former actress Victoria Wyndham and grandson of actor Ralph Camargo. He is a 1992 graduate of Hobart College. He was the program director of WEOS, the college's public radio station.

Camargo is a graduate of the Juilliard School, where he was a member of the Drama Division's Group 25 (1992–1996). He went on to perform in the 1996 Broadway production of David Hare's Skylight with Michael Gambon (Theater World Award). From there, Camargo went to England to join the inaugural company of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on the Southbank. He met his future wife, English actress Juliet Rylance, there.

Camargo's grandfather, Ralph Camargo, was a Mexican-American actor who talked his daughters into changing their names to something Anglicized because he felt he had lost roles due to being Latino. Camargo decided to change his name back from Minnick because of pride in his Mexican-American heritage and a desire to bring back a name that he felt was connected to his profession.

Camargo's New York theater work includes the Public Theater's Kit Marlowe, Steve Martin's Underpants at Classic Stage Company, and the title role of Theater For A New Audience's Coriolanus. In 2008 Camargo played opposite Dianne Wiest, John Lithgow and Katie Holmes in Arthur Miller's All My Sons on Broadway.

In early 2009 Camargo played the title role in the Theatre for a New Audience's production of Hamlet and garnered rave reviews. He won an Obie award and Drama League nomination for his performance. The show ran until April 12, 2009.

Camargo portrayed Orlando in The Bridge Project's presentation of Shakespeare's As You Like It in Brooklyn, New York. In February 2010, he played Ariel in the company's rendition of Shakespeare's The Tempest. Both plays were directed by British director Sam Mendes. On September 30, 2010, he was cast as Eleazar of the Denali coven in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2.

He wrote and directed Days and Nights, a modern retelling of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, produced by his wife, actress Juliet Rylance, together with Barbara Romer, the founder of the New Globe Theater. The film stars Katie Holmes, William Hurt, Allison Janney, Cherry Jones, Russell Means, Michael Nyqvist, Jean Reno, Mark Rylance, and Ben Whishaw, and is scheduled to release in 2014.

Camargo recently portrayed Mercutio in the 2013 Broadway revival of Romeo and Juliet, directed by David Leveaux and starring Orlando Bloom as Romeo and Condola Rashād as Juliet. He is also guest starring as Wade Crocker, the older half-brother to protagonist Duke Crocker, in the fourth season of Haven.

He has also been the face of Fast Ashley's, a custom car company that specialized in customizing vintage and muscle cars for celebrities, models and millionaires. The MTV reality show Fast Inc. follows the behind the scenes dealings of Fast Ashley's. His role in National Treasure: Book of Secrets was John Wilkes Booth.

In November 2008, Camargo married actress Juliet Rylance.

July 7th is Global Forgiveness Day

A day to forgive and be forgiven, Forgiveness Day is a chance to set things right. Put aside old differences, move beyond grievances and hurts and start afresh.

There is already a Forgiveness Day in August, founded by the Worldwide Forgiveness Alliance, but the Forgiveness Day on 7th July was founded by CECA (Christian Embassy of Christ’s Ambassadors), though really both days have essentially the same message; to forgive!

July 7th is Tell The Truth Day

Imagine a world where nobody lies, says anything misleading, or does anything dishonest. Tell The Truth Day aims to achieve this for just one day – presumably to allow people the rest of the year to get over insult, hurt and the result of truths which perhaps should have remained un-said!
