Fergie’s Back And She’s “Hungry”

“You say you the realest , I told you I’m the illest.”
From: NewNowNext
Fergie dropped a teaser trailer on Thursday for a new song called “Hungry (1st Byte),” her first in two years.

The black and white clip has us feeling the cooler vibes of Michael and Janet Jackson’s “Scream,” unlike the colorful bubblegum looks from Fergie’s past videos.

This is the “Glamorous” singer’s first music since her single “L.A. Love (la la)” back in 2014, and it’s been ten years since her debut-and only-album, The Dutchess.

Last month Fergie’s husband, Josh Duhamel, hinted that her new album-reportedly called Double Dutchess-will be released “any minute.”

Fergie is headlining this year’s Dance on the Pier, part of New York’s Pride Weekend, where she will most likely debut some of that new material live.

Favorite Pic of the Day for June 10th

From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
Charlie by Nick S82

Antony J on the Couch by Nick S82

From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
I was originally going to title this piece, Couch potato, but there are not really many similarities between Antony J and a lumpy potato. Now... there are other vegetables that would have fit, but I decided Couch Zucchini, although on point, wasn't really a suitable title for a post.

Then again, who's really concerned about post titles when you're enjoying Nick's images of the magnificent Antony J. Given that both Nick S82 and Antony made their FH debuts this past December, they seemed like the perfect combo to start the new month, and the new year with. I featured Nick's images with Connor In The Corner, and Antony and his outstanding set of images with Danny Barson. (Christmas Comes Early)

Nick describes Antony as incredibly easy to work with and was very pleased with the results. Antony had an equally great experience calling Nick a great photographer with some really brilliant ideas. Sometimes the best ideas are simplest ones, focusing on the male form in a situation we can all relate to. In the hundreds of images of Antony that I saw, I was particularly drawn to Nick's series of Antony just chilling on the couch.

I usually don't get home from work most nights until 8 or 9 pm and one of my favorite times of the day, is arriving home, doing what I need to do, then taking off as many pieces of clothing as possible, and jumping on the couch to relax before bed. It is during that hour before bed that I have time to work on the blog, catch up on my DVR'd Fargo episodes (finally finished last night) and leave the last 12 hours of work behind. Now, if Antony was on that couch, relaxation might not be possible, but enjoying Nick's images of Nick on the couch are certainly a great way to end, or begin anyone's day.

Favorite Click of the Day: Mat by Belieber

From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
I have been enjoying, and featuring the work of French artist Belieber for awhile now. The Bordeaux photographer recently launch a new site, and updates with new models every Sunday. So far, every Sunday has been exceptional, with four models well worth checking out!

This past Sunday, Mat was unveiled, and Belieber's preview images (and video) will have you wanting to see more!

A Little Rough: Andreas by Jamtron Studio

From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
'He's a little shy in the studio, but once I start shooting he comes alive in front of the camera.'
Jamtron Studio

When I featured the work of David from Jamtron Studio last month, character was at the core. In The Shade of the Garage, model Curtis Carter inhabited the character Javier, for a sexy shoot beautifully captured by David. The question of character also comes into play with David's recent shoot with Andreas.

'I don't really see these pics as images of Andreas, but a character he's playing. I got him to go a little rough in this shoot, and I think that worked out well.'
Jamtron Studio

Unlike with Curtis, Andreas' didn't give his character a name, but if you look closely, you can see clearly when Andreas' disappears, and the edgy, rougher character he is inhabiting takes over.  Often times, models express their characters through their eyes, but for me, with Andreas, I can see the character most vividly, when his eyes are obstructed, or gazing downward.

Andreas has such beautiful brown eyes, eyes that brighten and light up when photographed.  When he covers them, with sunglasses, or with the brim of his hat, you can almost feel a rougher attitude emerge, and more intense emotions and sexuality arise.  This was Andreas' third time shooting with David, but it had been a couple of years since there last shoot.  'He's really grown up, a little shy in the studio, but once I start shooting he comes alive in front of the camera. I watch him anticipating what I want, and reacting accordingly.'

Colton Haynes Responds To Noah Galvin’s Attack: “Good Luck Kid”

Galvin slammed Haynes' coming out interview as "pussy bullshit."
From: NewNowNext

In a shocking interview with Vulture this week, The Real O’Neals star Noah Galvin went off on a number of Hollywood gays, including Colton Haynes, who’s recent coming out in an EW interview he called “pussy bullshit.”

“That’s not coming out,” Galvin said. “That’s fucking pussy bullshit. That’s like, ’Enough people assume that I sleep with men, so I’m just going to slightly confirm the fact that I’ve sucked a dick or two.’ That’s not doing anything for the little gays but giving them more masturbation material.”

Last night, Haynes responded to the piece in an Instagram post, asking “since when did he become the judge of what’s appropriate?”

Galvin has since apologized for his comments, which he calls “brazen and hurtful.”

“To Colton Haynes and to the LGBTQ youth, especially those who have embraced our show, I have no right to dictate how or when anybody comes out of the closet; I know how difficult and scary the process of coming out can be, and the last thing I would ever want to do is make it scarier.”

He also apologized for claiming director Bryan Singer “likes to invite little boys over to his pool and diddle them in the fucking dark of night.” (Galvin’s comments about Singer have since been removed from Vulture’s story.)

“My comments were false and unwarranted. It was irresponsible and stupid of me to make these allegations against Bryan, and I deeply regret doing so.”
Perhaps most surprising, though, was the venom Galvin had for Modern Family.

Eric Stonestreet… is playing a caricature of a caricature of a stereotype of stereotype on Modern Family,” he told Vulture. “And he’s a straight man in real life. And as hilarious as that character is, there’s a lack of authenticity.”

While he didn’t specifically address Stonestreet or Modern Family in his apology, we’re sure he regrets biting the hand of the network that feeds him.

Will these be the end of the controversy or will Galvin—and The Real O’Neals—suffer reprisals?

American Eagle Outfitters Donates Times Square Billboard To LGBT Youth Group

The Hetrick-Martin Institute will launch its "Help Me Imagine" campaign in Times Square.
From: NewNewNext
Hetrick-Martin Institute, the New York-based LGBT youth organization, is launching its new awareness campaign in the biggest way possible: It’s broadcasting its message from a billboard in Times Square.

HMI’s new video campaign, “Help Me Imagine,” will debut in Times Square on Monday, appearing on an electronic billboard on 46th Street and Broadway donated by American Eagle Outfitters.

The billboard will feature vital facts about LGBT youth, as well as statements of hope from celebrity allies like Alan Cumming, Cheyenne Jackson and Tegan and Sara.

“Help Me Imagine” messaging will be visible for one minute every hour throughout the remainder of June, and will be joined by a social media campaign calling on users to share their hopes for the future with #HelpMeImagine.

HMI hopes to encourage the community to imagine a world where all young people, regardless of sexual orientation or identity, can achieve their full potential.

The Hetrick-Martin Institute has been helping LGBT youth since 1979, offering after-school programs, job-skill training, health services, therapy and more. The organization also partners with the The New York City Department of Education to offer programming and resources for New York’s Harvey Milk High School.

On Saturday, HMI will host its 16th anniversary School’s Out fundraiser in the Hamptons, with proceeds benefiting life-saving programs. Ticket information here.

Favorite Guy trying to go Legit: June 10, 2008

 Alex G
From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
Last week I did a post about male models showing it all. It is also fascinating when male models who are known solely for taking off their clothes start putting them on to go for a legit modeling career. 'Alex G' is one of those guys, one whom I am sure most of you already know. I must say, seeing many nude pics of this hot guy, his recent clothed shots are equally as hot and I wish him luck in the world of modeling.

Look Familiar? I am sure most of you knew already

Aaron Schock Is Back On Capitol Hill

A Justice Department investigation into the former Congressman's lavish spending is still ongoing.
From: NewNowNext
Former Illinois Rep. Aaron Schock returned to the Capitol this week for the first time since he resigned amid a Justice Department investigation into his spending habits.

Former House members retain floor privileges indefinitely, and Schock was there to address a joint session of Congress in support of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Capitol Hill.

The investigation into Schock’s finances during his time as a U.S. Representative is still ongoing. It began in 2015 after a Washington Post reporter gained access to Schock’s Congressional office and noted the extravagant decor, which led to a series of media inquiries about his lavish spending habits and the possibility he may have used tax dollars to access private jets for personal trips and shower his staff with gifts like Katy Perry concert tickets.

The scandal garnered national media attention for Schock, who had dominated gay media headlines the year before when former CBS journalist Itay Hod claimed to have knowledge that Schock is gay.

Asked for comment on the inquiry, Schock told the Peoria Journal Star, “I can’t say anything other than that I don’t know anything more than you know.”

Schock has never formally responded to his gay rumors but he did manage to respond to allegations about his spending last February with a Taylor Swift lyric, when he told Jeff Zeleny of ABC News: “As Taylor Swift said, ’haters are gonna hate.’”

Schock now reportedly lives in southern California and wouldn’t elaborate on what he’s up to beyond working for a firm that “does large hospitality projects” and spending time with his 16 nieces and nephews.

“They’ve seen me more in the last year than in the last six years combined — and that’s a good thing,” he said.
