Stephen Moyer On The Final Season Of 'True Blood' & Why A Bill-Eric Sex Scene Probably Won't Happen

The sun is about to set on Bon Temps, and Stephen Moyer isn't ready to say goodbye.

The actor, famous for playing good-gone-bad-gone-good-again Bill Compton, sat down with The Huffington Post to talk about his role on NBC's "The Sound of Music," but also opened up about the final season of "True Blood." He's directing the first episode, but insists he has no idea what's in store. And though he's been rooting for a Bill-Eric sex scene, here's why we probably won't get to see that anytime soon.

How do you feel going into the final season?

I don't know anything and I’m directing the first episode. I haven't gotten a script yet and we start shooting in January. I’m really excited, really sad. It’s just a group of people that I absolutely love and it’s certainly the happiest and warmest set I’ve ever been on, so that’s going to be hard to walk away from.

Did you always know that Bill was going to be a good guy in the end?

No, but I thought it was great for the show. I’m a really strong believer in doing what’s best for the show and if that means being a sh-t then that’s fine.

What do you think about the possibility of a Sookie-Bill reconciliation?

I don’t know whether it’s possible given everything that’s happened. The first mistakes he made at the beginning of the relationship were definitely mistakes that were trying to protect her. It’s not anything he was doing that was necessarily bad. He was sent there, but he kept that from her purely because he didn’t want to hurt her and he didn’t know he was going to fall in love with this girl. I think that he will always be and always was a key for Sookie to unlocking her womanhood and who she became and who she is and who she was. She won’t forget that part of him. Whether there’s any possibility of anything else, I don't know.

What about Eric? Do you think we’ll see him in the next season?

I don't know. If I told you that I don’t know you probably wouldn't believe me, but I don’t.

Do you have your own twisted fantasy about what you hope to happen?

Alex (Skarsgard) and I have been pushing for an Eric-Bill love scene for a long time, but they always said no. But our dream would be for my football team, West Ham United, to play his Swedish team, and would end up in some match-up that Bill and Eric happen to be able to get to.

That would be pretty great, but I don’t think Sookie would be to happy about that.

I’m sure Sookie would find a way to be part of the action. She usually does.

David Beckham: I still squirm over my football sex forfeit

Some memories stick forever but for David Beckham his saucy initiation ceremony as a teen lad joining Manchester United is one he is more than happy to forget.

 The pin-up revealed how his Class of 92 teammates required him to perform an embarrassing sex act whilst staring at the mug of eighties Reds legend Clayton Blackmore.

Becks said he got the short-straw with his humiliation, squirming as he remembered: ‘One of mine was surprising! The Clayton Blackmore!’

Recalling his teen horror, he said: ‘Everyone had an initiation that you had to go through on the youth team, that was one of the most uncomfortable ones!’

‘The fact that I had to look at Clayton Blackmore’s calendar and do certain things, while looking at Clayton Blackmore…’

More than happy to shake Clayton’s grinning face from his psyche, Beckham said: ‘I mean it was embarrassing to talk about!’

Forced to recall the full scale of the horror on camera for the documentary, the 38-year-old said: ‘I was embarrassed when I was saying it on camera let alone talking about it more. But it’s something that we all had to go through. It was definitely something I wouldn’t like to go through again!’

Meanwhile, Beckham’s teammates Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and the Neville brothers ear-marked Becks for stardom the day he blinged up his free car that they were each given by the club.

Who wouldn’t pound it to this guy?

Despite being responsible for sarongs, Mohawks and tattoos imitated by male admirers world over, Becks insists he never dreamed of being a celebrity icon.

‘As a young kid all I ever wanted to be was a professional footballer,’ said Becks, who looks at his red carpet moments with Victoria as icing on the cake.

‘Everything else that has come along with my life and my career is a bonus. I am very privileged to be in the position that I am in, to have done what I’ve done,’ he explained but says his eye is still on the ball.

‘But the only thing that ever interested me was to be a footballer and to play for Manchester United and England and the fact that I have achieved that, I’m very proud of that but obviously everything that has come with that, you know I’m also proud of.’

He goes fuzzy inside to think that the goals and thrills he and his Red Devil brothers delivered in the nineties have been turned into a cinematic experience, a la Senna and Nelson Mandela.

‘It’s kind of amazing because obviously we have talked about it for years and the success that we have had as individuals and as a team, to actually see it on film is something that we’re proud of,’ he said.

‘To have grown up as young as we were and to achieve what we did at a club that we loved, it doesn’t get any better than that.’

The Class of 92 world premiere will be staged in London on Sunday.

SETH ROGEN DUMPS JAMES FRANCO FOR ZAC EFRON

 Sexy schlub Seth Rogen‘s dance card is chock-full. His sex tape with James Franco came out last week, and he’s already on to the next Hollywood stud. This shot of Seth with his new cub Zac Efron showed up on Zac’s Instagram. Rogen is a hot piece of doughy ass, and Zac Efron moved so fast to get on him that he fell and broke his jaw! (That “fell in a puddle” story was total bullshit.)

 In actuality, they’re following up Rogen and Franco’s Kanye West dig. It’s a still from their upcoming Neighbors flick. So it’s marketing. That makes it less exciting than if they hung out shirtless all the time. To make up for it, here’s some more pics from Zac Efron’s Instagram feed. Seth’s Instagram pics would have made this post, too, but they’re not very sexy. They’re mostly of him visiting major online concerns (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram) and getting free swag.

A Jack Jolt

 I have never been much of a fan of The Osbournes. Never really listened to Black Sabbath, therefore my only real knowledge of Ozzy was all those chicken and rat rumors. Never watched their reality show and always felt that Sharon could be a nightmare. Sharon is one of those mothers you might think cool if she was the mother as a friend, but also someone capable of getting nasty and cruel when she felt it required. Never gave Jack or Kelly much thought at all, Kelly seems to try hard to be edgy, only to really seem quite retro and Jack was well... just Jack.

 That's why it was pleasantly surprising to me how attractive he came off on DWTS. Not only smooth on the dance floor, Jack showed grace and humanity and regardless of any pre-conceived ideas, he was incredibly sweet and endearing. I would not say my feelings moved to an actual crush, but they were getting close. Given at the end of the competition, Jack's came in third, I am obviously not the only one who taken aback by the surprise appeal of Jack.
