The Sixth Sense is an American paranormal thriller television series featuring Gary Collins and Catherine Ferrar. Based on the 1971 television movie Sweet, Sweet Rachel, the series was produced by and (largely filmed at) Universal Studios, and broadcast by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) from January 1972 through December 1972.

Collins is featured as Dr. Michael Rhodes, a professor of parapsychology who, along with his assistant Nancy Murphy (Ferrar), attempts to solve supernatural mysteries. Joan Crawford, Sandra Dee, Patty Duke, Cloris Leachman, Carol Lynley, Lee Majors, William Shatner, and Jane Wyman guest-featured in individual episodes.

The series, which was broadcast during Saturday nights at 10 pm, had tough competition against CBS's Mission: Impossible.. Despite mediocre ratings, The Sixth Sense was renewed for a second season mainly due to the well-known guest actors it featured. However, ratings continued to decline and ABC canceled The Sixth Sense on November 14, 1972. ABC broadcast the remaining episodes through December 1972.

Colin Farrell

This bad news bear cub has been setting hearts aflutter (against brains' better judgments) ever since appearing in Joel Schumacher's beef-fest Tigerland. He reeks mischief both on and off the screen, lost his looks for a bit when the partying got out of hand, but has bounced back admirably to continue as a reliably good-looking lead.

Girl Scouts Donor Said 100k Gift Can’t Be Spent On Trans Girls. The Scouts’ Response Is Perfect

One hundred thousand dollars represents about a quarter of the Girl Scouts of Western Washington’s annual fundraising goal, and could pay to send 500 girls to camp. But after receiving the generous gift, they got this note from the donor: “Please guarantee that our gift will not be used to support transgender girls. If you can’t, please return the money.”
The choice was simple, but that didn’t make it easy. The council leader wrote back saying she’d be returning the money, asserting that, “Girl Scouts is for every girl, and every girl should have the opportunity to be a Girl Scout if she wants to.”
Two days later an Indiegogo campaign to crowdsource the $100k had raised over $255k.

Pelé

I'm sure some of you are old enough to remember Pelé, the Brazilian soccer player who is arguably among the best footballers of all time. I recently found a 1977 photo of him showering with a couple other soccer studs, one of whom is German player Franz Beckenbauer (right). It may seem artistic in black and white, but the goods are all there.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈɛtsõ (w)ɐˈɾɐ̃tʃiz du nɐsiˈmẽtu]), better known as Pelé (Brazilian Portuguese: [pe̞ˈlɛ], name given as Edison on birth certificate, born 21 October 1940 – however, Pelé himself claims that he was born on 23 October), is a retired Brazilian footballer. He is regarded by many experts, football critics, former players, current players and football fans in general as the best player of all time. In 1999, he was voted World Player of the Century by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS). In the same year French weekly magazine France Football consulted their former Ballon D'Or winners to elect the Football Player of the Century. Pelé came in first place.  Pelé was elected "Athlete of the Century" by the International Olympic Committee and Reuters News Agency in 1999, and by French newspaper L'Équipe in 1981. During his playing days Pelé was for a period the best paid athlete in the world.  According to the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) he is the most successful league goal scorer in the world, with 541 league goals.  In total Pelé scored 1281 goals in 1363 games, for which he was honored by the Guinness World Records for the most career goals scored in football. In his native Brazil, Pelé is hailed as a national hero. He is known for his accomplishments and contributions to the game of football. He is also acknowledged for his vocal support of policies to improve the social conditions of the poor (when he scored his 1,000th goal he dedicated it to the poor children of Brazil). During his career, he became known as "The Black Pearl" (Pérola Negra), "The King of Football" (O Rei do Futebol), "The King Pelé" (O Rei Pelé) or simply "The King" (O Rei).

He was trained since birth to become great by his father, mentor and former footballer (who was the top scorer in every season he played for, for every team) Dondinho. Later spotted, at Bauru Atlético Clube, by football star Waldemar de Brito,  Pelé began playing for Santos at 15 and his national team at 16, and won his first World Cup at 17. Despite numerous offers from European clubs, he could not leave Brazil because of a law keeping him there. In 1961 President Jânio Quadros had Pelé declared a national treasure, thus enabling Santos to keep Pelé for almost two decades until 1974. With Pelé within their ranks, Santos reached their zenith by winning the 1962 and 1963 Copa Libertadores, the most prestigious club competition in South American football. In 1962 Santos became the first football club ever to win four out of four competitions in a single year, thus achieving the quadruple. Pelé’s electrifying play and penchant for spectacular goals made him a star around the world. His team Santos toured internationally in order to take full advantage of his popularity. Pelé played most of his career as a deep-lying forward. Pelé's technique and natural athleticism have been universally praised and during his playing years he was renowned for his excellent dribbling and passing, his pace, powerful shot, exceptional heading ability, and prolific goal scoring.
He is the all-time leading scorer of the Brazil national football team and is the only footballer to be a part of three World Cup-winning squads. In 1962, his second World Cup victory, he was on the Brazilian squad at the start of the World Cup but because of an injury suffered in the second match, he was not able to play the remainder of the tournament. In November 2007, FIFA announced that he would be awarded the 1962 medal retroactively, making him the only player in the world to have three World Cup winning medals.
Since his retirement in 1977, Pelé has been a worldwide ambassador for football and has undertaken various acting roles and commercial ventures. In August 2010, he was named the Honorary President of the New York Cosmos.

Hard To Keep Up With:

Glenn by NICKET
From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
Last year, after first featuring the work of California photographer NICKET, I went back into his portfolio with the intention of bugging him about images and models that I especially liked for future posts. Nicholas welcomed my suggestions and at the top of that list were his images of Glenn.

The 6' 1" San Francisco model is a photographers dream. Tall and lean with long blonde hair and a great facial features highlighted by his beautiful hazel eyes. No matter the pose or look, Glenn is striking in front of the camera and has a natural, engaging relationship with the camera. Glenn looks great doing fashion shots, but looks most at home, and especially sexy, wearing less... on the beach, particularly in his orange and black Clever briefs.

I love that each time I featured Nicholas' work, the shoot has always ended at the beach. Many photographers use the beach as a location, but you can tell Nicholas feels a connection with his surrounds, and that the sand, rock and water are more than just a place to shoot. The models he shoots there are not just wearing little and frolicking in the surf, not that there's anything wrong with that.... I love that Nicholas so beautifully has his models interact with their surroundings, feeling, touching, climbing and enjoying all that the beach has to offer.

'Working with Glenn was a great privilege. My first time working with him was only my third photo shoot and second with a professional model. (It was also the second in back to back shoots on the same day with my first dedicated model) Working with Glenn was made easy with his experience in posing and his training in parkour, although it made it hard to keep up with him.'

'The location was suggested to me by Glenn since this was my first shoot in San Francisco. He was very gracious and willing to work with me as I started out, for our first three shoots I was using a point and shoot camera. It was a great way to start my photography working with a fit, talented professional.'

The Top Five Greatest, Gayest Super Bowl Halftime Shows

From: Queerty
On Sunday, gays across America will participate in the time-honored tradition of running in from the other room at a Super Bowl party yelling “Is it halftime yet?!”
While this year’s show features decidedly yawn-inducing mom-rockers Coldplay, we’re sure Beyonce will bring the energy (and perhaps the bindi).

If you find yourself wondering what, if anything, could possibly top Katy Perry’s “left shark” moment from last year, either your memory isn’t serving you or you need better taste in music.
Luckily, a trip into halftime-shows-gone-by will help with either scenario.
Shall we check  out are our five favorites:

James Baldwin

Baldwin was born in Harlem and quickly found his passion for writing after spending time in Greenwich Village, where he was mentored by painter Beauford Delaney.

Eventually Baldwin left the U.S. for Paris, where he became involved in the counterculture of the Left Bank and began earning a reputation as a brilliant writer with strong views on race.

Many civil rights leaders were dismayed by his homosexuality, but Baldwin’s status as a celebrity writer made him a sought after advocate.

His most famous novels include Go Tell It on the Mountain, Giovanni’s Room, Tell Me How Long the Train Has Been Gone and Another Country–the latter two dealing with homosexual and bisexual characters.

Baldwin returned to France in his later years, and died there in 1987.

In 2012, he was posthumously inducted into Chicago’s Legacy Walk, an outdoor museum that celebrates America’s LGBT history.

They don’t make porn like they used to! No, I’m not just referring to the ol’ school mustaches, cheesy haircuts and bad fashion. There’s a certain urgency and passion that’s prevalent in older videos, and you don’t see that as often in this day and age. Maybe that’s because there were less “gay-for-pay” dudes? Beats the hell out of me!

I’ve recently become fascinated with Gunner Hyde, thanks to a few awesome clips posted on COLT‘s website. Sure, I wasn't even born when he first began sucking cock on camera, but that doesn't mean I can’t appreciate his talented deepthroating skills. Grr, this man drives me absolutely wild!
