Boxer/Porn Star Yusaf Mack Attacks Man In Barbershop For Using Homophobic Slurs

The openly gay fighter said he was tired of the online harassment
From: NewNowNext
Yusaf Mack used his boxing skills outside of the ring last weekend, attacking a man at a barbershop who he says was trolling him on social media because he’s gay.

TMZ first released footage of the 37-year-old repeatedly punching the man at the L.A. Clippers barbershop in Philadelphia on Saturday as customers and employees watched in disbelief.

Mack reluctantly came out in 2015 after a pornographic movie featuring him in a graphic scene with two other men surfaced online. The former boxer first declared he was drugged and tricked into appearing in the film, but eventually used the opportunity to reveal he is gay.

Witnesses claim that Mack first attacked the alleged homophobe, Hector Echevarria, while his head was in the sink during a wash, and ended the fight by slamming a jar of barber’s tools on his head.

Echevarria returned to social media after the incident to declare that they would soon fight again and then went back to taunting his attacker with more homophobic comments.

“I rather have a video of some [sic] beating me up than a video of someone seeing me take a dick up my ass any day,” he wrote.

Mack remained unfazed by the threat, reportedly sharing that he isn’t sorry for the attack and that the homophobe got what he deserved.

Bono snuggles up to Mike Pence in weekend meeting on AIDS relief

From: A.V. Club
If you’ve been concerned that your distaste for Bono is coming from a purely irrational and deeply petty place, reflecting more on your own flaws than the U2 front man’s, then we have good news for you: Bono totally kissed Vice President Mike Pence’s ass at a meeting in Germany over the weekend. The meeting, as Rolling Stone points out, was an impromptu one, scheduled after it was discovered that both men were scheduled to speak at the Munich Security Conference. At the beginning of their brief meeting, the two were seen laughing and joking, as Bono quipped that Pence was “the second-busiest man in America.” (With Trump on vacation in Florida for the third weekend in a row, it begs the question: Who was Bono referring to as “the busiest man in America,” exactly? Lin-Manuel Miranda, maybe? The Rock?)

The topic under discussion was AIDS relief in Africa, a cause that Pence supported when he helped get the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) passed in 2003, and then renewed in 2008. “Twice on the House floor you defended that. That’s how we know you, and we really appreciate that,” Bono told Pence, who responded, “It was an extraordinary historic accomplishment and you played a leading role in carrying it forward.”

This is, of course, deeply ironic considering that Pence’s home state of Indiana experienced an HIV outbreak of unprecedented proportions after Pence closed public health clinics and eliminated clean needle exchanges in the state during his term as governor. But Bono—who, like Pence, is deeply religious, although he remains cagey about his church affiliations—has been giving Pence and his ilk credit for passing PEPFAR for years, saying “I also want to thank the evangelical community for [getting PEPFAR passed], because it wouldn’t have happened without their leadership,” in an interview with Focus On The Family back in 2013.

Bobby Steggert and Broadway Bigwigs Join David Mixner for ‘1969’, a Stage Benefit for LGBTQ Youth

From: Towleroad
Activist, author, storyteller, and Towleroad contributor David Mixner is mounting a new stage show on March 6 at New York’s Florence Gould Hall in the French Institute, to benefit The Ali Forney Center.

Today we can share that Tony-nominated actor Bobby Steggert is joining the production along with singer-songwriter Julie Foldesi, actor T. Oliver Reid, and hyper-physical, provocative dance company MADBOOTS dance.

Mixner’s new one-night-only production, like the wildly successful Oh Hell No! which sold out houses in the U.S. and abroad, will draw on his personal experience, this time relating a tale of defiance, heartbreak, and self-discovery drawn from his work as a civil rights activist in the ’60s.

The new show, directed by Chris Bolan, is set in an America torn by the Vietnam war.

“1969 is an evening of storytelling of how four young people formed the Vietnam Moratorium in 1969 and with no cell phones, faxes, or social media brought the nation to a standstill in just six months. The performance will include never-before-told stories of Nixon’s Watergate Team, blackmail and intrigue,” says Mixner. “If just a few leave the evening more empowered to fight tyranny in America then the evening will be a huge success.”

All proceeds from the show will benefit the Bea Arthur Residence, the first AFC-owned property that will provide housing and services to homeless LGBTQ young people in New York City. The 18-bed residence will house AFC’s transitional living program, which, in addition to offering homeless LGBT youths a safe and affirming home, will also offer a host of comprehensive services aimed at empowering youths to become independent.

Said Carl Siciliano, Executive Director of the Ali Forney Center: “I am extremely grateful to David Mixner and the production team for lending their time and talent to benefit our youth. We rely on our community of supporters to help in raising desperately needed funds for our programs. We also rely on our community to inspire our youths to engage in activism and stand up for what is right—especially during these very challenging times.”

Andy Cohen, Judith Light, Daryl Roth, Rory O’Malley, Thomas Roberts, Thomas Schumacher, Terrence McNally, Jason Moore, Bobby Steggert, Hal Luftig, and Dave Koz are among those serving on the honorary host committee for the show.

Towleroad is proud to serve as media sponsor.

Those who have seen Oh Hell No! will advise you not to miss this opportunity to allow Mr. Mixner to acquaint you with his riveting and inspiring history.

New Jersey Devils embrace the rainbow for Pride Night

Pride sticks, tape and T-shirts accompany community event February 27
From: OutSports
The New Jersey Devils, like so many other NHL teams this month, are embracing the rainbow for their Pride Night, February 27. It is the first Pride Night ever held by the Devils.

The team was kind enough to surprise us with a Devils official hockey stick wrapped in Pride Tape, which was created to help hockey players show support for the LGBT community. The team has also created T-shirts with the team logo in rainbow colors, something that has become more and more popular with teams over the last couple of years.

One neat part of the event is that the Devils have had an executive, Joe Altenau, came out publicly as gay earlier this season.

The Devils certainly seem to be making a statement: LGBT people are welcome as fans, employees and players.

The New Jersey Devils’ Pride Night will take place at the Prudential Center on Feb. 27 as the team plays against the Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens are currently atop the Atlantic Division, while the Devils are just a few wins out of a playoff spot.

The team is hosting a community event at the Prudential Center before the game featuring Sharronda Wheeler, the president of Newark Gay Pride, and David Farber, a former college hockey player and You Can Play representative.

Milo Yiannopoulos Resigns from Breitbart News

From: Towleroad
Milo Yiannopoulos has resigned from alt-right rag Breitbart News in a press release, after remarks surfaced in which he said he was comfortable with men having sex with boys as young as 13.

Said Yiannopoulos in a press release:

Breitbart News has stood by me when others caved. They have allowed me to carry conservative and libertarian ideas to communites that would otherwise never have heard them. They have been a significant factor in my success. I’m grateful for that freedom and for the friendships I forged there. I would be wrong to allow my poor choice of words to detract from my colleagues’ important reporting, so today I am resigning from Breitbart, effective immediately. This decision is mine alone.”

The homocon white supremacist held a press conference Tuesday in New York City but was likely to be forced out anyway, as reports were circulating that fellow Breitbart staffers were threatening a walkout if the toxic troll was not let go.

Simon & Schuster has canceled publication of homocon white supremacist man-boy love enthusiast Milo Yiannopoulos’s book Dangerous “after careful consideration,” according to the publisher.

Simon & Schuster had been under pressure for some time to cancel the book deal.

Roxane Gay, author of Bad Feminist, last month pulled her forthcoming book, How To Be Heard, from Simon & Schuster’s TED imprint because of the deal the publisher made with Yiannoupoulos.

Simon & Schuster had defended the deal with Milo in a December 30 statement, claiming it did not condone discrimination or hate speech but says it did not bear responsibility for Milo’s opinions.

Yiannopoulos was disinvited from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) over the weekend.

Bill Maher, Faulted for Booking Milo Yiannopoulos, Takes Credit for His Fall

From: New York Times
If you were disappointed that Bill Maher brought Milo Yiannopoulos onto his HBO show “Real Time” last week, Mr. Maher is not especially bothered.

In a telephone interview on Tuesday night, Mr. Maher batted back criticism of the booking by arguing that the appearance of Mr. Yiannopoulos actually helped expose the incendiary right-wing personality’s views to a wider audience and hasten his sudden downfall.

Mr. Yiannopoulos’s collapse was set in motion Sunday when a conservative group called the Reagan Battalion resurfaced a 2016 interview in which he endorsed sexual relations with boys as young as 13. Mr. Yiannopoulos — known for a history of offensive remarks about Muslims, Jews, transgender people and other groups, and as a ringleader in a notorious incident of online harassment — lost a speaking slot at the Conservative Political Action Conference and a book deal with Simon & Schuster, and then said on Tuesday that he was resigning as a senior editor from Breitbart News.

Mr. Maher has been dealing for days with the fallout from his booking of Mr. Yiannopoulos. The journalist Jeremy Scahill, who had been scheduled to appear on the same episode, withdrew from the show. Mr. Maher has defended the booking on free-speech grounds, saying last week that if Mr. Yiannopoulos was indeed a monster, “nothing could serve the liberal cause better than having him exposed.”

But following the show, Mr. Maher came under attack for the chummy and conciliatory vibe of his conversation with Mr. Yiannopoulos and for a panel segment, broadcast online, in which his guest made more inflammatory remarks that seemed to go unchallenged.

Speaking on Tuesday night, Mr. Maher, who counts himself as a liberal, did not sound particularly chastened by these assessments. He said he knew his interview with Mr. Yiannopoulos would never be satisfactory to some viewers. “No matter what I did,” he said, “it was never going to be enough for that slice of liberalism that would much rather judge a friend than engage an enemy, because it’s easier.”

Mr. Maher spoke further about the experience of having Mr. Yiannopoulos on “Real Time” and its aftermath, and why he will continue to seek out provocative conservative guests. These are edited excerpts from that conversation.

Given all that has transpired since Friday’s show, how do you feel now about your decision to have Milo Yiannopoulos as a guest, and how those segments transpired?

Well, let’s recap. About a week ago, I went on Van Jones’s show, and somebody asked me about the booking. I hadn’t really gotten into the details of Milo yet. He was just getting on my radar. I said, specifically, sunlight is the best disinfectant. Then we had Milo on, despite the fact that many people said, “Oh, how dare you give a platform to this man.” What I think people saw was an emotionally needy Ann Coulter wannabe, trying to make a buck off of the left’s propensity for outrage. And by the end of the weekend, by dinnertime Monday, he’s dropped as a speaker at CPAC. Then he’s dropped by Breitbart, and his book deal falls through. As I say, sunlight is the best disinfectant. You’re welcome.

You think his appearance on “Real Time” helped lead to his downfall?

That’s what I was just saying. And by the way, I wasn’t trying to get him removed from society. I’m somebody who, many times, people have tried to make go away. They were successful that one time, for six months in 23 years, because that’s how long it was between the two shows [“Real Time” and “Politically Incorrect,” Mr. Maher’s previous talk show, which aired on Comedy Central and ABC]. It just rubs me the wrong way when somebody says, “I don’t like what this person is saying — he should go away.”

Do you feel that way even about the kinds of things Milo was saying on your show, or in the other platforms he was given?

Can he do damage? I suppose he can. To a degree. Not a great degree, I don’t think. Could he offend people? Could he even inspire a borderline person to do something violent? I guess so. But nothing is free in life. People seem to want to live in this world where everything is a win-win. That’s not how life works.
Could there have been more accountability in your segments with him? For instance, it seemed like he was allowed to grossly understate his role in harassing Leslie Jones on Twitter.

It’s not my job to hold him accountable to everything he’s ever said or done. I had eight minutes with him, on the show itself. Sorry I don’t have time to go over everything everybody else would want to do. We just had time to, sort of, start a discussion of the broad view of who he is. I don’t think he frankly knows what he’s going to say half the time, or knows what his philosophy is. But to see him as this monster is a little crazy. You know what he is? He’s the little impish, bratty kid brother. And the liberals are his older teenager sisters who are having a sleepover and he puts a spider in their sleeping bag so he can watch them scream.

So how does someone deal with a personality like Milo, who is going much, much further than other guests, saying things that are demonstrably false?

The president says 10 things a day that are provably wrong. If I threw everyone off my show who says things that are provably wrong, I’d never book a conservative and probably half the liberals.

When he said that transgender people have a “psychiatric disorder,” do you just move on from that?

Move on? It dominated the entire [online] segment. The other guests attacked him. When I say, “That’s not unreasonable” [to not want to share a bathroom with a transgender person] it’s because women have said that to me: “I want to know,” or “I’m not comfortable with someone in the bathroom, even if they, in their minds, have decided they are a woman.” Doesn’t that opinion count at all?

But you don’t agree that transgender people have a psychiatric disorder.

No, I don’t agree with that. But I don’t know that much about the situation. If somebody feels like they’re a woman, fine, then you’re a woman. I’m O.K. with that. If they’ve studied that, and they say it’s not a psychiatric disorder, I’m O.K. with that too. If that’s what scientists decided, that it’s not any psychological disorder, it’s fine with me. I agree.

Since the start of your new season, you have had other guests like Tomi Lahren and Piers Morgan — not nearly as provocative, but with whom liberal viewers aren’t likely to agree. Are you trying to create conflict on your panels, or rile up your audience?

I’ve never tried to push anybody’s buttons. I think everybody else in TV — everybody else who does political commentary in a comedic way — they’re all in one box. It’s so predictable, what they’re going to do, which is, never say anything that would make anything — that would make any liberal give the slightest bit of discomfort. I do a show about what’s happening that week in the news. Trump is president. I’m glad that we have enough credibility with both sides, that people who are Trump supporters will still do the show.

Going back to “Politically Incorrect,” you booked conservatives like Ann Coulter and Kellyanne Conway ——

And Laura Ingraham. We had a whole cadre of blond conservatives. There was a fourth woman conservative we used to book in those days, who we kind of discovered — her name was Arianna Huffington.

Even after your experience with Milo, do you still want to have guests your viewers haven’t encountered or might want to avoid?

Yes. I like people who push the limits. I like people who are not afraid to take the slings and arrows, because they’re going to explore what’s on the edge. Now, is this guy over the edge? Yes. I mean, he’s a little cuckoo. But I would rather err on that side than on the side where everybody else is.

Gay Porn Star Kyle Dean Jailed Following Drug And Burglary Arrests In Florida

From: Str8Up Gay Porn
If you follow gay-for-pay porn star Kyle Dean on Twitter and have been wondering why he hasn’t tweeted today asking for money, Amazon Wish List gifts, and Uber rides, that’s because he’s in jail.

The former Corbin Fisher and GayHoopla performer was arrested Tuesday morning for contempt of court and apparently violating probation following previous convictions on drug and burglary charges in Manatee County, Florida (of course).

Kyle Dean (legal name Brandon Chrisan), who just last week had offered to suck his Twitter followers’ dicks in exchange for Amazon Wish List gifts, has a lengthy rap sheet in Florida going back two years. Since 2015, he’s been arrested for drug possession and burglary at least five times, and he has a collection of mug shots:

Kyle Dean’s first encounter with law enforcement appears to have been in December of 2015, when he was arrested for breaking into multiple cars in Manatee County. The burglaries made local news:
Manatee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested three teenagers early Monday morning for a string of car burglaries. The thefts occurred in the Heritage Harbor subdivision. Deputies were dispatched when a resident in the 100 block of New Britain Court heard noises coming from their driveway. A man chased a pair of young men away from his vehicle. They were rummaging through it when he went after them as his wife called 911. A third suspect was apprehended while in possession of two bags of stolen items when deputies caught up with him.
Avery Walters, 18; Brandon Chrisan and a 17 year old juvenile are facing several burglary charges. Walters and Chrisan were booked into the Manatee County Jail where they are being held on a bond of $7,500.
No bond has been set for Kyle Dean’s current charges, and he remains in custody tonight. A summary of his previous arrests and charges:

Someone purporting to be Kyle Dean’s brother has sent a series of threatening direct messages to Str8UpGayPorn on Twitter. The messages fluctuate from requests to have this post removed, promises of a lawsuit for defamation, a vague threat involving “internet shit and real life shit,” and a kissy face emoji. Kyle Dean’s alleged brother has given Str8UpGayPorn 12 hours to remove this post before he gets “serious.”

For the record, it was Kyle Dean’s brother (or whoever was operating the Twitter account at the time) who first alerted fans and Str8UpGayPorn that Kyle Dean had in fact been arrested and jailed this morning:

Wham!'s Andrew Ridgeley Gives Emotional Tribute to George Michael at 2017 Brit Awards

Andrew Ridgeley -- the other half of '80s pop duo Wham! -- has remained mostly out of the public eye since the unexpected death of George Michael on Dec. 25, 2016. But at the 2017 Brit Awards, Ridgeley stepped into the spotlight to deliver a touching tribute to his friend and former band mate.

Joined by Helen "Pepsi" DeMacque & Shirlie Holliman (who toured with Wham! as backing singers Pepsi & Shirlie), Ridgeley talked about the band's early days and Michael breaking out into solo stardom.

"We were the best of friends," Ridgeley recalls of befriending Michael in 1975. "We monkeyed around recording sketches and jingles in George's bedroom… On Nov. 5, 1979, I phoned George and said 'It's now or never.' Then we formed our first band."

Holliman remembered their fruitless early attempts at getting signed, sending demos off to labels that were returned with "no thank you" notes. Eventually, they scored time in a studio and managed to record a demo of "Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do)" and the verse and chorus of "Careless Whisper," which just barely managed to get them signed.

As Wham! toured the world, DeMacque recalled the joy of listening to his "stunning, pitch perfect voice" every night. Through tears, Holliman said, "George was like a brother to me and I will always be so proud of his incredible achievement."

Ridgeley wrapped the trio's teary tribute by asserting Michael's place in the all-time pop pantheon. "His is a legacy of unquestionable brilliance which will continue to shine and resonate for generations to come. George has left in his songs, in the transcendent beauty of his voice, and in the poetic expression of his soul, the very best of himself. I loved him, and in turn we, you, have been loved."

Following their emotional words, Chris Martin took the stage to duet with George Michael on "A Different Corner" via vintage video footage.

Ricky Martin Loves ‘Greasy Stuff’

From: Queerty
“I’m a Latin man—I love meat, I love seasoning, I love greasy stuff. And I love my typical food from Puerto Rico. It’s fried, I just love it and it tastes really good. So what can we do? I started…I started…I became a vegetarian—slowly, I didn’t do it drastically. First, I started eliminating the red meat, and the chicken, then the fish. And then it was all vegetables. How did I do that? I don’t know. If you told me when I was 20 that I was going to become a vegetarian, I would’ve been like, you’re crazy—that’s never going to happen. But I’ve lived a very health vegetarian lifestyle for three and a half, four years.”
Ricky Martin to Dr. Phil, describing his recently forged vegetarianism.

Another Candid Video of Donald Trump Treating Melania Like Crap

From: Queerty
So Donald Trump kicked off his 2020 campaign last Saturday at the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport in Melbourne. The rally included Melania Trump robotically reading the Lord’s Prayer, a terrifying group rendition of Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA, and an 11-year-old girl purportedly needing to be escorted out after she wouldn’t stop “sobbing in fear.” But that’s not all.

After the rally, the Trumps rode Air Force One from Orlando to their mansion in Palm Beach and the press was there to capture them getting off the plane. The footage once again shows Donald behaving like anything but a gentleman.

In the tape, #45 lumbers down the stairs several feet ahead of Melania. (This is nothing new.) When he reaches the bottom of the steps, rather than waiting for his wife, he immediately plops down inside an idling SUV. When Melania finally makes it down the stairs several seconds later, Donald obviously doesn’t want to slide over for her, and so she is forced to walk all around the vehicle and climb in on the other side.

Rude!

NEA Prez: EVERY STUDENT HAS THE RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE, WELCOMED, AND VALUED

From: Boy Culture
In light of  that Trump, at Attorney General Jeff Sessions's urging and with the allegedly reluctant approval of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, rolled back President Obama's executive order stating that trans kids should be allowed to use the bathroom of their choice in schools, NEA President Lily Eskelsen García has issued the following statement:

Every student matters, and every student has the right to feel safe, welcomed, and valued in our public schools. This is our legal, ethical and moral obligation. The Trump administration’s plans to reverse protections for transgender students by rescinding the Title IX guidance, is dangerous, ill-advised, and unnecessary.
We reject this discriminatory plan because it is a drastic departure from our core values. We don’t teach hate, we do not tell people how to pray, and we do not discriminate against people based on their religion, gender, or identity. Period.
As the Trump administration threatens our students and our values, we will double-down on our efforts to protect our most vulnerable citizens, including our LGBTQ students and members. We urge more states, school districts, and schools to adopt protections for transgender students. We owe to our students because they need to see us take a bold stand against discrimination whatever form it takes.

American flag has 51 stars during Mike Pence’s EU visit

From: New York Post
Mike Pence and Donald Tusk
The star-spangled banner looked more starry than usual during one of US Vice President Mike Pence’s appearances in Brussels.

A background picture of the American flag that went up alongside the European Union flag as Pence and EU leader Donald Tusk spoke on Monday had 51 stars instead of the usual 50, one for each state.

The Brussels version of the flag had three rows of nine stars and three rows with eight stars each. American flags typically feature a total of nine alternating rows of five or six stars.

Mike Pence shakes hands with Donald Tusk.
The EU flag featuring 12 stars in a circle against a blue background was configured correctly. And the American flag had the right number of stripes — 13.

The EU Council did not immediately respond when asked about the error with the misplaced star-state.

Jeff Sessions Battled Betsy DeVos, Won Trump’s Approval on EO Rescinding Transgender Protections

From: Towleroad
The executive order that rescinds President Obama’s directive to schools protecting transgender students from discrimination had sparked some heated infighting between Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, according to the New York Times.

DeVos initially resisted approving the order but had little choice once Trump signed on, according to the paper:

Mr. Sessions, who strongly opposes expanding gay, lesbian and transgender rights, fought Ms. DeVos on the issue and pressed her to relent because he could not go forward without her consent. The order must come from the Justice and Education Departments.
Mr. Trump sided with his attorney general, these Republicans said. And Ms. DeVos, faced with the choice of resigning or defying the president, has agreed to go along. The Justice Department declined to comment on Wednesday.
Though an official order from the administration was expected to be released as early as Wednesday, Mr. Sessions and Ms. DeVos were still disputing the final language.

The NYT obtained a draft of the order and says that confusion in the schools over how to implement Obama’s directive is cited as the reason for telling them to drop it.

Also:

The draft also contains language stating that schools must protect transgender students from bullying, a provision Ms. DeVos asked be included, one person with direct knowledge of the process said. “Schools must ensure that transgender students, like all students, are able to learn in a safe environment,” the letter says.

The EO was issued late yesterday.

CONGRATULATE ASTON SPRINGS AND JAY ICE ON THEIR FIRST TIME

From: Manhunt Daily
Soldier boys Aston Springs and Jay Ice are taking the plunge. Well, Jay plunges his big cock into Aston Springs waiting ass. These two have jerked off in solo scenes for Active Duty, but this is the first time either of them have fucked another dude on film.

Then we get to see Jay slide his big, thick cock into Aston’s sweet ass. Jay pounds Aston with lot of passion and intensity. I love how he can let himself become totally engrossed in the moment. After a while, Jay turns Aston onto his back to continue the punishment.

I love it, too! The “first-time” thing always makes for a good scene. Hopefully, these two can take what they’ve learned back to the barracks and practice. And then come back. Let me fix that – “cum” back.

Ripped Solider Jake Breaks Into Dixon’s Virgin Ass

From: Rough Straight Men
We haven’t seen Jake for quite some time, and boy oh boy has he grown strong since last time we worked with him. He has been working out diligently in the gym and that tight ripped body of his is now just about perfect. Jake has always looked pretty manly and tough and this new stronger look makes him look even better. His legs are still hairy and muscled as ever.

Dixon is a country boy and still an anal virgin. Today is his lucky day, though, because he’d be riding Jake’s big hard dick. Dixon demonstrated his cock sucking skills on Jake’s cock and we were impressed, probably just as much as Jake himself. It’s always funny and exciting to watch these inexperienced straight guys having their first gay contacts, how good it feels and how different from what they thought.

So Dixon sucks on Jake’s dick for a while then they switch to 69 and continue that way for some time. Eventually it is time for Jake to break into that pink virgin hole and make sure he does that job right. First he probes Dixon’s hole with his fingers then shoves his hard cock in there. He fucks Dixon in two positions and it all ends with a big cum splatter!
