Jake Owen wasn't on our radar until last summer, when a wardrobe malfunction left him practically pantsless. Without missing a beat, the “Days of Gold” singer took his shirt off and tied it up to preserve his modesty. Owen later tweeted: “going commando=bad idea. Although, great breeze here.”
Country singer Jake Owen had to do a little improv at his May 17, 2013 show in Charleston, South Carolina: While performing Van Halen’s “Jump,” the 31-year-old crooner split his jeans nearly in half.
But Owen had decided to go sans underwear at the North Charleston Coliseum and was forced to use his white t-shirt to keep his pants in one piece. (Check out a clip of his improvised ensemble below.)
Owen, who’s been keeping himself in shape, later tweeted: “going commando=bad idea. Although, great breeze here.”
