 This past January, I first featured images from New York photographer Richard Rothstein's Urban Ballet series. With spring just days away, it seemed the perfect time to feature more from the series. As much as I love winter, and a good snowfall, this has been a LONG winter. Richard's images of men flying through the air outside in the sun is the perfect visual to represent how I am feeling about the beginning of spring.

'New York City is the world’s most exciting stage; the perfect place to tell a story, score a musical or in this case, choreograph a dance. Staging urban ballet, capturing the movement of urban men set against the energy, texture. color and raw beauty of New York City is a natural extension of my work as a photographer. The city inspires and allows a range of themes for urban ballet exposing the viewer to humor, irony, sexuality, drama and whimsy. And, frankly, this is a city of constant movement, high energy and pervasive sexuality. What better way to express that than through the movement and energy of beautiful men.'

QUINN JACKSON'S BURNING FLAME

 WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME KNOWN. TO REACH THAT CELEBRITY STATUS YOU SO DESIRE. TO TURN THOSE STARS IN YOUR EYES TO A REALITY. IN OUR YEARS WE HAVE SEEN MANY MODELS, ALL WITH THEIR OWN QUALITIES. GUYS THAT BURN WITH A SPLENDOR A BRIGHT FIRE, BUT A FIRE THAT BURNS FAST NEVERTHELESS. AND SOMETIMES YOU COME UPON ONE THAT FOR NO SPECIFIC REASON AT ALL WAS ABLE TO KEEP THAT FLAME BURNING.

Murray! writes his professional name with an explanation mark at the end and he has every right to do so. Murray!’s men are exquisite. He seems to have a third eye when it comes to select the finest of the finest and is able to add to that unearthly beauty with his sublime photography. His setting are always minimalist and pure. A simple background, hardly any props, and a divine-like man centre stage. True it appears some post production enhancement is executes at strategic places, but that makes Murray!’s work even more desirable. And so it is no surprise so many of the star seeking models want to work with this most skilled photo artist from Detroit.

 What does it take to become known? Determination and a clear objective are a must. To have that goal in front of you and to know that is where you want to be, no matter what. Since we re talking modelling here, obviously the right physical attributes are key to success as well. Not to mention the right personality and professional attitude. And on top of that: luck. Meting the right people, making the right choices. It is all a matter of the right things coming together at the right time. It doesn’t always work out that way. But for Quinn Jackson, it most certainly did.





Quinn Jackson is, like Murray!, not a novice when it comes to BeautifulMag. This beautiful man has been featured in several articles, received by you with different opinions. Quinn has been around. Meaning, his face and body have been known for quiet some time now, which is quiet an achievement considering Quinn is only 24 years old. But Quinn has that objective, that goal. Quinn has that determination to go where he wants to be. Quinn also has the right attitude. And above all, Quinn has had the opportunity to meet the right people to give his career a boost.

Recent experiences have shown us to be a bit careful with what we say or show, so let me cut the grass from under your feet. Quinn Jackson says he’s straight and if he says so, we believe him.
