Motel Hell

“It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent’s fritters.” Motel owner Vincent (Rory Calhoun) and his sister Ida (Beulah Balbricker herself Nancy Parsons) have a secret garden where they grow the special ingredients they need for their famous smoked meats. Motel Hell is a lot of fun, alternating between horror satire and gruesome set pieces. And this is the third greatest Rory Calhoun film of the 80′s (behind, of course, Angel and its sequel Avenging Angel).
