For a brief moment in 2012, Alex Pettyfer was primed to eclipse Ryan Gosling as the gay man’s fantasy par excellence. Magic Mike was hitting theaters and the British actor bump-and-grinded through the whole thing.
And then… not.
Pettyfer declined to appear in the 2015 sequel, Magic Mike XXL, and went about his life. He appeared in the movies Beastly and Endless Love, (which we did not see), and apparently began working at a web startup called HypeIt.
But he still has the moves: When an impish co-worker turned on Ginuwine’s “Pony,” Pettyfer hopped out of his chair and gave us the best Monday morning in recent memory.
Bonus points for baggy sweatpants, Alex.
Here’s the original with Channing Tatum for comparison.
Pettyfer recently showed Instagram followers his “fighting fit” abs and teased a super-secret movie project.
