All the culprits were eventually apprehended, sent to the office, and forced to remove the stickers. But the holiday lives on! In over a decade of Batman Sticker Day celebrations, festivities and customs have expanded to include Batman cookies, cupcakes, greeting cards, and art—pretty much anything and everything that exudes Batman-y goodness (justice included)—and all with a twist of D.I.Y. gumption.
Batman Sticker Day has proven to be a great alternative to Valentine's Day and an excellent complement to it! For those who aren't in a love situation, Valentine's Day can range from, well, meaningless, to angering, or excruciating. Thankfully, Batman Sticker Day works sans romance, as it happens to feature a lot of dark clothing, lurking in shadows, and ass-kicking!
