2012 was the year that all the Lifetime television execs jumped off a bridge because real life had beat them at their own game. What single and fear-based viewer needs Craigslist Killer when they could have Craigslist Cannibal?! If you'll remember, bad boy adult film actor Luka Magnotta met up with Lin Jun through a Craigslist bondage listing. Luka videotaped himself eating and dismembering Lin Jun, and then mailed the remaining body parts to various addresses. Jeeze, buy a guy dinner first! Sorry, that was tasteless.

Luka Magnotta was convicted in 2014, and according to recent documents has apparently been having the time of his life behind bars. Not too many people are going to mess with a cannibal I guess. Luka's letters include statements like "Our doors are open 90% of the time so for me I feel like I'm in a university setting," "all this chocolate for Valentines Day... ruining my diet," and "I just bought Celine Dion's album and a lot of others. I have a stereo and a portable for when I suntan outside." Luka's Canadian prison allows inmates to wear their normal attire and Magnotta has been seen dressed in Versace. Here are some other excerpts from his correspondences, ViaToronto Sun:
I really hope you’ll be able to make it in July to the little cottage here. I’ll fill out the form and put you on the list. I’ll go shopping for the food and movies. We have movie channels and movie night here so I can get any title.
and
I’m really enjoy playing hockey and tennis and I’ve lost a lot of weight. I’m looking forward to next month when the volleyball nets outside will be put up. I’ve always been an amazing player.
