These past few days have been a blur of sadness, fear and outrage as we all try to make sense of the tragedy in Orlando.
But for three minutes on Sunday night, I smiled. I might have even giggled.
During the Tony Awards, Netflix ran a “for your consideration” Emmys promo for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, featuring Titus Andromedon (Tituss Burgess) auditioning for the Broadway blockbuster Hamilton.
“Now I’ve not actually been able to get tickets to Hamilton and no audition materials were made available to me—SHADY!—but I think I get it.”
Burgess ends his “audition” with some hairography that even Roxxxy Andrews would have to tip her weave to.
