“Mr. Robot” Star Rami Malek Cast In Freddie Mercury Biopic

 Rami Malek is in talks to play Freddie Mercury in the long-gestating biopic about the flamboyant Queen front man.

 Bohemian Rhapsody will be directed by out X-Men filmmaker Bryan Singer, who posted about the project on Instagram.

The Theory Of Everything screenwriter Anthony McCarten has written a script for the film, which was first slated to star Sacha Baron Cohen and then Ben Whishaw.

Graham King (The Departed, Allied) is producing, with Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor overseeing musical production.

Malek recently won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role on Mr. Robot.

Not sure what they will do, every shirtless/nude photo I have seen of Malek he is super smooth and we all know Freddie was a hairy beast!
