We love our wolves here at Gay Celebrity Gossip. What’s that you say? What on earth is a wolf? Well, in the world of gay slang and lingo, a wolf can be described as a male who is generally semi-hairy, muscular and has a lean build. Typically, wolves can be of any age although many people think of them as being somewhat older. To be sure, there is a great deal of dialogue around this topic because not everyone agrees on a universal definition.

In any event, we thought it might be kind of fun to look at 5 of our favorite wolves and discuss the specific characteristics that make them fall into this category. We’ve included a poll at the end of this post to let you pick your favorite canine.
FYI: Wolves have always had special meaning to different cultural groups. Native Indians think of wolves as a symbol of freedom, strength, stamina and leadership. The Japanese have traditionally thought of wolves as Shinto Gods where nature itself had not been tamed yet by civilization. Some cultures have viewed wolves as demonic and messengers of evil.
All we know is that based on the gay body types we have grown accustomed to around here, wolves are among our favorite types of guys!
Many of the different gay communities have a banner flag for identification purposes. For example, the bear community uses a bear’s paw print placed over a multi-colored flag. The colors of the flag’s stripes represent the different furs found all over the world.
We felt bad that wolves really didn’t have a community – or a flag to represent belonging. For giggles, we created something for them. If you identify yourself as a wolf, you now have something you can run up your flagpole!

Tyler Hoechlin
One of the hottest wolves you will ever see – ever is Mr.Tyler Hoechlin. Born in 1987, this muscular and defined canine relative has all of the essential wolf features. Take note of his scruffy face and his ridiculously manly hairy chest.
Most of the pictures you will see of Tyler show the celeb shaven. We think this is a shame because his chest hair only accentuates his hotness. Tyler Hoechlin by the way is buddies with twinikie Dylan O’Brien. Make sure you check out his hazel/green eyes – very wolf life!
