National Mustard Day is celebrated annually at the National Mustard Museum on the first Saturday in August. It is a fun-filled day for the whole family and has traditionally included FREE hot dogs as well as music, games, other entertainment, FREE mustard sampling, and more. The Mustard Museum has been the official sponsor of this event since 1991.
In 2010, the event was moved to the current home of the Museum in Downtown Middleton, Wisconsin. With more than 6,000 enthusiastic mustard lovers in attendance annually, this event has raised thousands of dollars for local charity. From the Restoring Hope Transplant House to the Friends of the Middleton Library and the Middleton Cardinals Booster Club, there’s been many who have benefited from this golden goose. This year’s fundraising will benefit the Middleton-Cross Plains Kerl-Endres-Brannon American Legion Post 245 and the nonprofit National Mustard Museum.
