Women often pose in sexy boudoir photo shoots to show they care for their significant others — so it only makes sense that men do it as well. It's 2016, after all.
Dubbing it "dudoir," Masika May posted her latest collection of photographs featuring a man posed in the same traditional poses — complete with shy smiles, flirty glances at the camera, suggestive body language and very little clothing.
According to May, Brendon Williams of Langford, Canada contacted her back in September, and together, they created the concept they wanted for the photo shoot. Williams, who is a friend of May, wanted to take the sexy pictures for a photo book for his wife, whose birthday was on Jan. 19.
"I have known his wife my entire life and have photographed every milestone this couple has had so of course I said yes even though it's not normally the type of photos I take," May told Mashable.
Williams and May set up the shoot in the same concept as any female boudoir photo shoot — with lacy backdrops and soft natural lighting. Much like a female photo shoot, Williams was nearly nude for the entire shoot — but May said it was all worth it to make his wife's birthday a memorable one.
"I posed him almost exactly how I pose my female clients and these photos are the result. He made them into a photo book for his wife and she was pretty much ecstatic about them," May said.
Some of May's photos had to be removed after they were reported to Facebook for apparently violating Facebook's nudity guidelines, but she has restored them after some minor censoring. More of her photos can been seen on her official photography page and on her website.
