Gay social networking and hookup app Grindr, which has about 8 million worldwide users, is scheduled to debut a brand new look later this month on all Android devices and roll out an iOS update later this summer.
According to the Huffington Post:
There will be a number of main updates to the app, including enhanced prominence of the user’s picture. A guy’s stats won’t be visible until the user taps on the “profile” portion of the screen.“The update is part of Grindr’s continued focus on speed and simplicity when looking to meet guys and this new profile will make it easier than ever,” a Grindr representative said in an email statement to The Huffington Post.
Grindr will also add a feature which will allow you to calculate travel time, as well as an enhanced navigation feature that allows users to quickly switch between profiles and chats.
