Jesse Lee Soffer (born April 23, 1984) is an American actor. His film debut, at the age of eight, was in Matinee. In 1995, he played the role of Bobby Brady in The Brady Bunch Movie and returned for A Very Brady Sequel a year later.
Jesse Soffer originated the role of Max Nickerson on the daytime soap opera Guiding Light in 1999. In 2004, he took over the role of Will Munson on As the World Turns, a role he has portrayed until April 4, 2008. As of 2008, he has earned three Emmy nominations for his role on ATWT. In July 2010, Soffer resumed the role of Will on As the World Turns.
After a career in soaps, he graduated to TV. Soffer landed the plum role of Jodie Arias’ stabbing post Travis Alexander in the made-for-tv movie about his murder that aired this past weekend on Lifetime. From what little I saw, it was full of tv movie goodness – scorned blonde, dude who’s using her, bloody shower. Seeing as I’m a horny homo, Jesse stood out for me so I had to research his roles. He looks like the boy next door. Hopefully the one who let you play with his junk in the garage when no one else was around.
After starring in a show called The Mob Doctor (that sounds phenomenal), he’ll be part of the Chicago Fire spin-off Chicago PD this fall. Cop uniform. Handcuffs. DVR is set.
p.s. He was on As The World Turns, and his character was involved in their coming-out storyline (see the clip below). He played the understanding best pal. So sweet! They really should have ended that clip by making out. Just to be sure Jesse’s character wasn't gay, too. Ambiguity is our enemy.
