I met Carlos (plaid shirt) and Duarte last year when I first visited Lisbon in January. They were in the final stages of completion before opening their all-male gay urban resort, The Late Birds Lisbon, which we used as the backdrop for our shoot. Located in the heart of Lisbon’s historical center, Bairro Alto and Principe Real, they designed the guesthouse to feel welcoming and comfortable, as if you were at home among friends. With a contemporary look of Portuguese design, the guesthouse has a lounge, bar and garden with pool - the perfect place for a gay getaway!

 Fast forward to one year later, I moved to Lisbon and rang in the new year drinking wine while watching fireworks together!
