Because We Need It: “Buffy” Actor Tom Lenk Recreates Red-Carpet Looks With Household Objects

Tom Lenk, best known for his role as Andrew Wells on the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has been showing fans a zanier side of himself on Instagram recently.

For the past few weeks, Lenk has been giving himself (hilarious) budget makeovers of iconic red-carpet looks using household objects and other items he’s bought on the cheap from convenience stores. The recreations are funny, of course, but also surprisingly on point.

The fun got started after the Met gala in May when Lenk did his first red-carpet spoof on the yellow fan dress Solange Knowles wore to the ball.

From there his creativity really took off with tributes to fellow gala-goers the Olsen Twins, Anna Wintour, Katy Perry and Sarah Jessica Parker.
