Levi’s New Pride Collection Is Here—Hankies Included!

You wear it well.
From: NewNowNext
Levi’s has paired with the Harvey Milk Foundation to create a gender-neutral clothing line for Pride 2016 . The new collection was designed to honor the late activist and hearkens back to the carefree 1970s.

Tank tops and t-shirts sport a timeline of important dates in LGBT history, while denim trucker jackets are emblazoned with little milk bottles designs and Harvey Milk’s inspiring quote “Hope will never be silent.”

Other items in the collection include stonewashed shorts with a rainbow-embroidered pocket and Harvey Milk patches, a Pride baseball cap, and a Levi’s navy bandanna with paisley print featuring Levi’s rainbow batwing embroidery.

“Harvey was a true leader, whose passion was palpable and has expanded the decades since his untimely assassination,” says Grant Barth, chief merchandising officer at Levi Strauss & Co.

“He brought not only the LGBTQ community forward, but he fought for the visibility of all minorities.”

Levi’s has created Pride collections in the past, but this marks the first time it will be available worldwide. A portion of proceeds benefit the Harvey Milk Foundation’s fight for LGBT equality.
