Same-sex smooches have long been a mainstay at the MTV Movie Awards.

This year’s nominees for Best Kiss are all of the heterosexual variety, but with the show airing April 10 at 8/7c, we’re taking a look back at the legacy of gay kisses at the MTV Movie Awards, both on screen and at the show itself.
