“Coming Home To You (Is Like Coming Home To Milk & Cookies)”
Michael Franks
Oscar winners Alan & Marilyn Bergman have written plenty of classics, but they’ve also had their share of stinkers, and the most cloying and sickly sweet may be this clunker from 1982’s Al Pacino flop Author, Author!, in which they somehow roped Michael Franks into singing (I guess Stephen Bishop was busy). What really pisses me off is that this didn’t win the Razzie for Worst Original Song From A Film. It was nominated, but they gave the award to “Pumpin & Blowin” from The Pirate Movie. I don’t get it, either.
