April 12th is International Day for Street Children

The International Day for Street Children takes place on April 12th. Now in its fourth year, the day provides a platform for the millions of street children around the world to speak out so that their rights cannot be ignored.

Since its launch in 2011 support for the day has grown – in 2013 activities took place in 132 countries.
