“Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind”

The Goddess had a rough time in the early 90’s, and that was evident in the worst (selling and in quality) album of her career, 1994’s Street Angel. Recorded while Stevie was battling an … allergic reaction to cold medicine … and spending time … resting at day spas … she couldn’t give the album the attention it needed, and it showed. There were a couple of bright spots on the album, including the underrated first (and only charting) single “Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind.” Unfortunately, it was met with a shrug by the public, peaking at #57 in July.
