The adorable Kiwi speed skater who first captured our attention ahead of the 2014 Winter Olympics turns 29 years-old today, proving that gay life actually doesn't end at 28.

Blake Skjellerup became somewhat of an LGBT champion before the Winter Olympics, when he announced in August that he’d risk arrest by wearing a rainbow-colored pin whilst competing in the openly anti-gay country. He was, of course, a legend in the gay community long before that — he cemented his status as a gay sex symbol when he got naked for Gay Times last June.

Today, the day of this stud’s glorious birth, we provide one breathtaking photo to mark each year of his life. There’s never been a better time to remind you just how hot his Instagram is.
Happy birthday, Blake!
