13 Unintentionally Hilarious Gay Book Covers

From: Queerty
Surfer Sex : True Gay Encounters
Rusty Winter

Synopsis
Two short, supposedly autobiographical Stories.

The first of the books title relates to the author's few week spent in Australia, where while sitting on the beach he meets a young surfer and life-guard Dave who entices him into the changing rooms for some fun. The next day Rusty is back on the beach, and this time Dave is accompanied by Brent, but still encourages Rusty to join them for a shower - and a lot more. Brent and Rusty really hit it off, and the rest of Rusty's visit is spent in Brent's company, but while Rusty declares his love for Brent, Brent won't even admit that he is gay, presenting a stumbling block in their relationship.

Half the book is given to this story, but almost its entirety is devoted to their couplings, or extended couplings with various others including three teenagers they discover experimenting on a darkened beach, and where they proceed to provide much welcomed instruction. There is otherwise little to the story, and the repeated intimacies become a trifle repetitive. It is a shames that more was not given to the complexities of their relationship.

The second story "Kev", is far more interesting. It describes the time when at the age of fourteen Rusty spent some weeks with his uncle in northern Australia and struck up a friendship with an Aborigine boy about a year older who works on his uncle's farm. The two boys are soon sleeping together and enjoying discovering many delights, and it seems to be with the approval of both his uncle and all the Aborigine workers on his uncle's farm.

There is much more to the story "Kev" than their intimate explorations, it as much about their growing relationship, and touches a little on the Aborigine traditions.
