"I wasn't really looking for anything when I met my Dom. I didn’t even know I had a submissive side. It happened organically as our relationship progressed.
He was handsome as he was commanding…he had a very dominant presence without even trying, and was the most developed person I had ever met. He was successful, worldly, romantic, a total gentleman. It didn’t take long for me to admire him.
I can’t be submissive towards someone unless I admire them. So, if I were you, thats what I’d look for.
If you’re giving up control to a Dom to shape and guide you on your journey, you need someone you can count on. Admiration is a good turing test for this. They need to be at least good enough of a human that you admire them.
As a Dom, I am constantly trying to better myself for my pup. He looks up to me, admires me, and puts me on a pedestal. He’s aware of my flaws, but doesn’t see them as such. Nevertheless, I want to be an example for him to continuously improve himself. Just as I set goals with my pup, I set goals for myself." -- Dylan
