Brüno
2009
Love it or hate it, Sacha Baron Cohen and Larry Charles‘ follow-up to their massive breakout hit Borat is as daring as mainstream comedy gets. At its best, the film used satire to expose the ridiculousness behind fear of gay intimacy and gay people. At its worst, it was just blisterlingly funny in all the wrong ways. Case in point: the title character’s insanely over-the-top hotel room romp with Diesel, which involved a fire extinguisher, a giant slingshot, a hand-vacuum, and the most inspired champagne bottle cozy in film history. Here it is, in its ridiculous, fake-censored but still probably very NSFW glory:
Hotness: 0
Romance: 0
WTFactor: 10
