From: Accidental Bear
Call me wacky, but I like to know just a little bit about a photo shoot as I take a gaze. I mean, photos are pretty and all, but a story can tickle my fancy and add another dimension.
Brendan Healy in the photos told me the story behind this shoot: ”This summer, my boyfriend and I rented a house in the middle of the Joshua Tree National Park with my childhood friend Heather Cassils (an amazing LA-based performance artist http://heathercassils.com) and her wife. One afternoon, Alejandro and I went exploring the area and came across this abandoned portable in the middle of the desert that must have been a classroom at some point. These photos are what came out of that. ”
