Australian-based 2eros is kicking its original Victory swimwear line up a notch with 2eros New Victory swimwear. Inspired by Australian team colors, the new line comes in three colors: Golden Phoenix (yellow), Red Deamon (blue), and The Dragon (green). Retailing at roughly $55, the 2eros New Victory line is a lot more subtler than its predecessor. Though both featured a drawstring, a defined waistband is missing from the low-rise New Victory swim briefs. Also missing is the Victory V design in the pouch region. Instead, the New Victory line showcases the 2eros Victory logo rather minutely on the left side of the brief. The playful “V” design is still featured on the back of the brief, accentuating a man’s best assets.
The marketing campaign for the New Victory line also marks a departure from the original. The original ads were a bit more avant-garde. The models could have been extras from a Kylie Minogue ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head” video. They were clean and set around the beach. The new ads for 2eros New Victory are a lot grittier. Switching out the clean-cut, shaven models of the old Victory ads for a tatted model with leg hair, the new ads are shot in front of more of a dark, urban setting.
2eros New Victory swimwear follows in the brands mission to provide men with quality, clean designs. Each item in the line is made up of 80% nylon and 20% elastine and consists of a roomy, supportive pouch for those in need of the extra space. The 2eros New Victory line is available in XS-L.
