Micahael Novotny's (Hal Sparks) first serious boyfriend on the US version of Queer as Folk, Ben Bruckner (Robert Gant) understood his comic book geekiness. But that didn't mean that Michael knew how to deal with Ben's HIV-positive revelation. Of course, they work out that they're meant to be together, but that doesn't mean they don't have their share of fights. And don't even get us started on foster child Hunter (Harris Allan). Sheesh! If you can marry a man who can handle all that baggage, you know you got something good.
