Totaled 18 points, five assists and three rebounds against Villanova in the first round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament and his three-pointer with 21 seconds left put the Patriots ahead for good in a 61-57 victory.
Third-team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection as a sophomore when he scored in double figures on 19 occasions and handed out five or more assists 11 times.

Earned all-state honors while at Hidden Valley and was selected to the all-tournament team at the National Prep Tournament with Hargrave.
All-Timesland selection as a senior at Hidden Valley High School in 2007-08 when he averaged 13.9 points and 7.1 rebounds and helped the Titans reach the state AA semifinals for the second straight season.
Before selecting UofL, Hancock also considered transferring to Michigan, South Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Personal:

Born Jan. 30, 1990 ... Son of Venicia and William Hancock ... Has four brothers and a sister (Will, Matt, Robert, Stephen and Melissa) ... Major is marketing and business management.
Personal goal at UofL is to "play hard and have fun."
Enjoys watching movies, playing golf and hanging out with friends in his spare time.
Chose to attend UofL because of the coaches, the facilities and support from the community.
Best basketball advice given to him was "if he can do it, why can't you?"
Few people know that he hates to lose in anything.
Most proud of being at UofL.
UofL assistant coach Kevin Keatts has had the greatest influence on his athletic career.
Feels Will Smith would be the best actor to play him in a movie.
Best moment of his athletic career to date was the Final Four experience last season.
If you walked into his dorm room, the first thing you would notice is his TV.
Among reality shows, he feels he would fare best on Real World.
Best thing about being a Cardinal is "the support from the community."
What impresses him the most about Coach Pitino: his demeanor and knowledge of the game.
Would most like to meet Dirk Nowitzki.
