Johnny Depp
(1963—)
One of Hollywood's least likely to succeed, considering his claim to fame had been in the laughable TV series 21 Jump Street (1987—1990) on the laughable new FOX network, Depp nonetheless quickly carved out a career so enviable he is still frequently cited by up-and-comers as a role model. Equally at home in blockbusters or in more personal statements (or, in the case of his frequent collaborator Tim Burton, both at once), he's been lovely to look at and more often than not a hoot. He hasn't aged, but whatever he's doing to retain his overall look has softened him and desexualized him in the past few years, at least for me. Teenage girls still routinely vote him among their favorite movie hotties
