Donald Trump being named President-elect of the United States has left many LGBTQ citizens feeling scared, devastated and unsure; PinkNews reports that eight trans people have committed suicide since Tuesday night alone.
US lawyers have begun to spring into action, however, by offering free services to trans people who have questions and concerns about the legal status of their identity before Trump is inaugurated on January 20. The hashtag #TransLawHelp has been spreading throughout twitter in an effort to spread the message.
