 Hiroki Ogata was knocked out of Monday’s Olympic pole vault final after his leg, and third leg, made contact with the bar, sending him toppling to the mat.

Unfortunately for Ogata, the whole thing was captured in a slow motion GIF.

Though he did end up clearing the bar on his second attempt, it wasn’t enough to see him advance.

Ogata finished 21st overall in qualifying.
