After six decades as a star, Barbra Streisand is still full of surprises.
The living legend’s upcoming 35th studio album, Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, finds her teaming up with some of the biggest names in Hollywood for 10 duets of Broadway classics, and she just released footage of her time in the studio with Alec Baldwin.
“I wanted a real ’New Yawker’ for this song,” Streisand tweeted about their pairing for the track “The Best Thing That Ever Has Happened.” “Alec Baldwin is so funny and smart. A total charmer!!”
The star also posted a video of the two recording the track and gushing over the song’s composer, Stephen Sondheim.
Encore, which also features duets with Melissa McCarthy and Chris Pine, is scheduled to be released on August 26, and you can check out her video with Alec Baldwin below.
