Nick Jonas served himself to the gay community on a golden platter in a new interview with The Sun, saying he won’t deny having had gay sex because he technically has, thanks to the steamy same-sex love scenes he’s performed via his gay character on Direct TV’s Kingdom.
The topic came up because Nick, who is constantly criticized for “baiting” the gay community, was explicitly asked by the interviewer about his sexuality, as he usually is in most interviews.
“On Kingdom I have a sex scene with a guy. It is always this thing have I, has Nick? No,” he said, assuring the only man-on-man action he’s been involved in has played out in front of cameras.
He continued: “But it’s my lips, it’s my hands, it’s my body, even if I’m playing a character. So technically I have done that, so I wouldn’t say I haven’t, because that would be lying. But as me, Nick, I am very open about who I am and that I have nothing to prove. I know what I am, I’ve been honest about that.”
Nick went on to call his experience being chained up on the stage and London’s famous G-A-Y club “erotic,” and confirmed he is dating English model Lily Collins, daughter of singer Phil Collins.
Nick recently hung out with out BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and didn’t talk about his sexuality once, mainly because he wasn’t asked.
