Rob Marshall
&
John DeLuca
Having been a romantic couple since meeting 32 years ago, the director and producer (both former actors and dancers who have also choreographed stage productions), have figured out how to share their creative pursuits and work together professionally since Marshall directed the film adaptation of Chicago. They recently worked together on the Disney adaptation of Into the Woods, and are looking forward to new film projects as well. "We realized it was wonderful to work together, since with a movie it’s not like you put your life on hold — it is your life," Marshall told Out. "So we could bring our home to Toronto or Los Angeles, where we shot Memoirs of a Geisha, or Italy and London, where we shot Nine. We have these adventures now, and it’s part of our life."
