Speaking of CNN, they began their salute to the 80's Thursday night and one of the biggest stars, on one of the biggest shows, of that decade was certainly Victoria Principal on Dallas. Principal had been acting for many years, without much acclaim through most of the 70's, evening leaving acting to become an agent for awhile.
In 1977 Aaron Spelling lured her back on screen for a role on Fantasy Island which soon after led to her role as Pam Ewing on the prime time soap, a role that brought her super stardom. Today, Principal rarely acts, spending most of her time, and making most of her money, from her beauty and fitness business, something she wisely began and cultivated prior to leaving Southfork and her role on television.
