As soon as I first saw promo's for ABC's new comedy The Real O'Neal's, I knew that sexy face on the actor playing the dad was familiar. Sure actor Jay R. Ferguson is a little older, a little bigger, than when I first crushed on him on the television version of The Outsiders, but his face, and his sex appeal, has not diminished one little bit.
Even if you don't know it, you know Jay R. Ferguson. If you didn't crush over his pin-ups during his teen idol days in the 90's, you watched him on film and in television shows like The Outsiders, Evening Shade, Surface, Judging Amy, Sleeper Cell and most recently with his turn on Mad Men.
Jay may not get the attention some of his fellow actors do, but his talent, and that face, have allowed him to work consistently since the 90's. While some of his fellow teen idols rose, and then disappeared, with his new role on The New O'Neals, Ferguson thankfully, isn't going anywhere!
