It’s been a painful six years since we last heard from Dory, our favorite Pacific Regal Blue Tang in all the Great Barrier Reef, first introduced in the 2003 film Finding Nemo.
Though Dory showed up in 2009’s The Incredibles and several comic books, our appetites have never been anything close to satiated while we wait for the summer 2016 release of Finding Dory.
While the waiting admittedly sucks, behold, the first trailer for the film.
The first look at the film reunites Dory (Ellen Degeneres) with her buddies Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and Marlin (Albert Brooks) and finds her sleep-swimming in the middle of the night, calling out for her mother. And so we have our premise: Dory begins a tireless search to find her family. Luckily, the old crew is back to help her out.
And just who will be voicing Dory’s mother? Anyone we might know? Why yes.
Watch the trailer below.
