Friday 25th of September is Bright Pink Lipstick Day
This year, we want everyone to share a conversation about their own family health history. Whether it’s with your mother or your daughter. Your brother or sister. Your aunt or uncle, cousin or grandparent. Or even with a close friend.
Because investigating your family’s history of breast and ovarian cancer is the first step in determining your own level of risk when it comes to hereditary breast and ovarian health. While that may sound a little daunting, this knowledge can give you the choice to take steps to reduce your risk.
And because this isn’t always an easy conversation to have, we’re going to do it together. So make a promise today to make a date with someone close to you on September 25th to talk about your family health history.
