British Babe And “Celebrity Big Brother” Star James Hill Talks Being A “Gay Magnet”

 There’s a pretty serious gay/straight bromance developing on TV right now and you’re probably missing it, unless you’re in the UK or keeping up with our daily Celebrity Big Brother recaps.


This season of CBB pits Americans against Brits and it’s serendipitously brought together an unlikely pair — Austin Armacost of Logo’s The A-List and James Hill of The Apprentice UK.

The guys formed a bond immediately after entering the house and have been inseparable ever since. In the same spirit as the wild “Zankie” showmance we saw on Big Brother U.S. last year, the guys are sharing a bed, have been bathing together, and aside from that, have taken just about every opportunity to be seriously handsy with each other.

In a new issue of aTeen addressing the age-old burning question, “Can gay guys and straight guys just be friends?”, Hill opens up about his status as a bona fide “gay magnet.”

“I have lots of gay friends and they are always great fun to be with,” he says. “My mates say I’m a bit of a gay magnet and to be honest gay guys try it on with me more than girls, but I’m cool with that as I’m comfortable with my sexuality.”



Hill says his greatest assets are his “legs and bum,” and praises the benefits of being in generally good shape.

“I think when you’re in good shape and healthy it naturally gives you confidence and the feel good factor,” he says. “But it’s important whoever we are to look after our bodies, be happy and feel great about ourselves. We are all sexy to someone!”
