As the only catcher in MLB history to win multiple batting titles and Golden Glove awards, Mauer may be even better known for his modeling career, appearing in ads and TV commercials for Perry Ellis, Head & Shoulders, Pepsi, ESPN, and Gatorade. He roomed together with a former teammate in a St. Paul home before his marriage to a St. Paul nurse in 2011.
