Jules Shear is probably best known for writing The Bangles “If She Knew What She Wants,” and one of Cyndi Lauper’s greatest songs, “All Through The Night,” but he’s also recorded over 20 albums on his own, yielding one chart single, “Steady,” which hit #57 in May 1985. TRIVIA: He’s the ex-boyfriend of Aimee Mann, who we’ll see later on this list.
