Rugby hottie Daniel Conn turns 28 today.
Daniel William Conn (born 14 February 1986) is an Australian model and rugby league player of Greek and New Zealander descent. He played for the Sydney Roosters club in the National Rugby League (NRL). His usual position of choice is at second-row forward.
He was first in the news as a 16 year old in 2002, when it was revealed that he was playing Rugby Union (at Outside Centre) for The Kings' School in the NSW GPS competition, with his school fees being paid by the Canterbury Bulldogs, for whom he played after leaving school. He was selected at outside centre for GPS firsts, but withdrew that year. The next year, he progressed through the Schools' Rugby Union representative ranks to represent Australia A.
He has previously played for the Canterbury Bulldogs and Gold Coast Titans.
In Round 12 of the 2011 NRL season, Conn received a major neck injury which needed major surgery to have his spine fused. A week later he was told that there was a high possibility that if he continued with his career that he may not see the future. Even though he retired at the age of 25, he believes it was the best choice.
Daniel Conn starred in series 6 of Geordie Shore where the gang traveled to Australia, he was dating Geordie Shore housemate Vicky Pattison and was known as 'Fit Dan' on the show.
