November 20 is an interesting, and confusing day. Today is Globally Organized Hug A Runner Day aka G.O.H.A.R.D.. So apparently we are to go and hug people who are outside running. It sounds all nice and all, but what happens if they do not slow down and allow me the hug them. I am no runner and I cannot be chasing people down. Would using my car to catch up to runners and joggers today be acceptable? And when I finally pin them down for a hug, what happens if they refuse, or fight back? Then there is the issue with body odor; suppose they stink, do I have to hug them if they are smelly? I simply am confused on the rules of today.
