For aficionados of 1980s beefcake, Roadhouse is like The Godfather. Patrick Swayze was at his feathered best playing Dalton, a philosophical bouncer who tries to protect his town from a corrupt businessman.
The film is known for its ultra-violence and corny one liners like “pain don’t hurt.”
But it’s also known as being one of the most homoerotic action films of the decade: There’s tons of sweaty guys rubbing up against each other and, at one point, one of Swayze’s opponents barks, “I used to fuck guys like you in prison.”
And then there’s all those scenes of a shirtless Swayze kicking ass in his tight gray sweatpants.
Now those sweatpants are up for auction online, along with a shirt he reportedly wore in the film, and a copy of the movie itself.
Now we’re not suggesting you would want to do anything untoward with the pants that cradled Patrick Swayze’s perfect posterior. It’s strictly for sentimental value.
